British artists Jamie Wardley and Andy Moss amazed us by creating human silhouettes on sands of Normandy. They took some volounteers and etched every figure by rakes and stencils. It meant to be a visual reminder of the people who died during the D-Day on 6th June 1944. The team consisted of 60 volounteers grown to nearly 500 when local residents arrived to help with that instalation. After few hours tide washed away every single silhouette. Very meaningful ending.
