Virginia Mori

Virginia Mori was born in Cattolica / Italy which is a beautiful, sunny and inspiring place. (totally doesn't fit to dark, disturbing Virginia's art) She studied illustration and animation at the National Art Institute of Urbino.

So what we're exactly dealing with? Virginia uses mostly black biro pen and pencil (sometimes we can find other colours, but it's quite rare). Of course the medium is paper. The atmosphere that comes out from her art has strenght to send you to another dimension. Dimension of dark, gloomy and disturbing female figures, animals and objects. You may have an impression that each piece tells different story but they're somehow connected. Impressive!
